Now, though, Jason Flemyng has decided to follow friend Dexter Fletcher behind the camera, planning to direct a vampire action film called **Reign Of Blood{
And the Fletcher connections continue with the writer as Wild Bill script man Danny King is responsible for the screenplay on this one. It’s been floating in development for around a decade according to King himself, and nearly made its way into production last year before falling at the final hurdle.
The plot finds a gathering of powerful vampires whose meeting is rudely gatecrashed by a detachment of vampire-slaying special forces troops led by Captain Bingham, who has made it his mission to destroy the fang club – but wasn’t expecting to encounter an entire coven. Soon, the two sides are engaged in a battle that could lead to plenty of casualties...
Flemyng is currently rounding up a cast and intends to start shooting this summer. He’s also been at work on films such as Meet Pursuit Delange: The Movie, **The Last Kingdom **and The Black Prince.
