Janet Jackson Gets Nutty

Janet Jackson is reportedly thrilled to have bagged a role in the sequel to ** The Nutty Professor**, still officially untitled - though we're betting on the The Nuttier Professor or perhaps The Downright Bonkers Professor. Though she's acted before(in 1993's 'hood flick Poetic Justice) Jackson auditioned three times for the part, which according to ABC news, demonstrated her enthusiasm for a movie role. "[She] got better each time and her screen test was exceptional", said producer Brian Grazer, doubtless relieved that her thespian skills improved with practise. Eddie Murphy is also back on board in mumerous guises as before (he played the Professors entire family), and shooting starts next month.
