While he may have missed out on Oscar glory, Britain's Jamie Bell, won't have much time to reflect on what might have been. The young actor told Empire Online that he's just signed up for his follow up film to Billy Elliott. 'I am going all period,' he told us. 'Well, further back in time than 'Billy', back to the Second World War. It's a war film called 'Who Goes There?' 'It's about three boys who actually dock a U-boat in Wales when it is meant to be heading for Southern Ireland. The Germans then overrun the town and get all the supplies and capture the boys. I guess I had to be careful where I was going next after working on such a special film but this period is so interesting, I always wanted to go there.' Finding time for moviemaking is always a tough one for actors who are still at school as Jamie discovered. 'I am not leaving [school] till next year, so they have had to fit the filming around the school year. They are doing my scenes in the summer holidays.' However it does make for a better time during the holidays. 'Well the others will be getting bored or doing paper rounds in the summer I'll be playing around with German U-boats. Fantastic.'
