Forget crunk. Classic break dancing is obviously about to make a huge comeback. Well, maybe.

Bob Yari Productions certainly hopes so, as it’s bringing us Kickin’ It Old Skool, the story of a 12-year-old break-dancer who hits his head in 1986 and wakes up 20 years later as a grownup, in the form of Jamie Kennedy. The film follows his attempt to revive his old dance group’s career.

Harvey Glazer, who’s making his directing debut, will call action on a cast that includes Maria Menounos Vivica Fox, Smallville’s Michael Rosenbaum, Christopher McDonald and Alan Ruck.

The script’s by Trace Slobotkin, Josh Siegal and Dylan Morgan and the cameras will crank in Vancouver on 5 April.
