Though he's currently swimming in production of superhero sequel Aquaman 2, James Wan also has a new, original horror film headed our way with Malignant. Check out the first trailer.
Malignant signals Wan's return to directing horror output (he's more recently stepped back to produce the likes of the Conjuring films) and it's typically spooky stuff. Written by Akela Cooper working from a story by Wan and Ingrid Bisu (who also appears in the film), Annabelle's Annabelle Wallis stars as Madison, who is paralyzed by shocking visions of grisly murders, and her torment worsens as she discovers that these waking dreams are in fact terrifying realities...
Maddie Hasson, George Young, Michole Briana White, Jake Abel and Jacqueline McKenzie co-star, with the film due in UK cinemas on 8 September.
