Dawson's Creek star Joshua Jackson will star alongside model-turned-actress James King (yes, she is a girl) in Lone Star State Of Mind. King and Jackson will play a couple from Texas (who are also cousins!) who travel to L.A searching for fame and fortune. She dreams of being a soap opera star but, unsurprisingly, the pair encounter a few problems on the way. Director David Semel has previously worked with Jackson on Dawson's Creek, and has also directed several episodes of Angel. Shooting will begin in January 2001. King, who has recently finished shooting Michael Bay's Pearl Harbour, will also be seen in Ted Demme's Blow - a drama about drug dealing, with Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz.
