Action god and all-round nice guy Jackie Chan is working on a new film with the English title Junior Soldiers. Ding Sheng (Underdog Knight) will direct.
Chan, bless him, isn't quite junior these days, so perhaps the meaning of the original title has been lost in translation.
But we do know that the movie is a road movie combined with a costume drama, set during the Qin dynasty, which could mean high-speed cart chases as things hot up.
The story is said to follow three people and a horse and with Chan on writing and producing duties too, we can expect some great set-pieces in place of a hard-hitting plot.
Filming is expected to begin early next year.
