Chloë Grace Moretz and Gary Carr are already aboard Amazon's planned small screen adaptation of William Gibson's The Peripheral. Jack Reynor is joining them in the cast.

The show will be based on Gibson's 2014 tome, a typically twisty future noir set in two different futures and across more than one timeline. Our main lead is Flynne Fisher (Moretz), a woman trying to hold together the pieces of her broken family in a forgotten corner of tomorrow's America. Flynne is smart, ambitious and doomed. She has no future. Until the future comes calling for her. Burton (Reynor), a veteran of the United States Marine Corps’ elite Haptic Recon force, is hired for a security job which takes place in what he thinks is cyberspace. When Flynne temporarily takes his place, she witnesses something that may have been murder...

Scott B. Smith created the adaptation and will run the show, with Westworld duo Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy executive producing.
