Jack Huston Joins Twilight: Eclipse

Jack Huston has become the latest addition to the cast of the third Twilight movie, Eclipse – although it’s likely that the British Johnny Depp look-a-like won’t have that much screen time.

Huston will play Royce King II, a human who is indirectly responsible for the vampire transformation of Rosalie Hale (Nikki Reed), during the Great Depression.

King is a bit of a cad and will appear only in flashback, which means that the chances of an on-screen pout-off with Robert Pattinson are slim to none. Yet it’s still the highest-profile movie gig to date for the 26-year old Huston (nephew of Danny and Anjelica), who was last seen in the utterly bonkers aliens-vs-vikings movie, Outlander.

To mark this occasion, we hereby give him his official Twilight nickname, so he'll blend in easily with K-Stew, RPattz and JacAbs. World, meet J-Hu. J-Hu, meet world.

With a release date of June 30, 2010 looming, filming will start on Eclipse next month in Vancouver, with British director David Slade yelling instructions through a megaphone.
