Earlier this year we wrote that the truly dismal Killing Me Softly had taken an early lead in the battle for Turkey of the Year. But just as it seemed that Heather Graham and Joseph Fiennes were cruising towards the finish line on their own, Eddie Murphy's new movie has come from behind to pose a serious challenge. Murphy's latest effort, Pluto Nash, has received some of the worst reviews of recent times, with not a single American critic having anything good to say about the movie at all. Amongst the reviews we here at Empire Online particularly enjoyed were The New York Post; 'so unremittingly awful that labelling it a dog probably constitutes cruelty to canines,' and The Boston Globe's summary; 'A film made with as little wit, interest, and professionalism as artistically possible for a slummy Hollywood caper flick.' Ouch! **No
