Jay Roach, better known for oversexed super spies and Gaylord Fockers, will turn his attention to Deep Throat.
He’s planning to direct an as-yet untitled film about W Mark Felt, the career FBI agent who last year revealed himself to be the legendary Watergate source, as seen in All The President’s Men.
The currently untitled movie will be written by Peter Landesman after Universal and Playtone snagged the rights from Felt just after he blabbed all in Vanity Fair. It’ll be a tricky path, as much of Felt’s tale has already been told in President’s Men.
