Indiana Jones and the Immigration Police

Attacking the issue of race and immigration head on, Crossing Over looks set to be a controversial corner for Harrison Ford to turn after this year's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Ford stars as an immigration police officer on the hunt of illegals, who begins to question his actions amid the moving stories of the struggle to achieve legal status in Los Angeles. The film also starrs Sean Penn, who is never a stranger to a film with a message, Ashley Judd, and Ray Liotta as - you've guessed it - a conniving mobster.

Also stepping into the line of fire as illegal Aussie immigrants are Brit pair Alice Eve (Starter For 10) and Jim Sturgess (21), plus I Am Legend's Alice Braga as a South American woman whose child gets left behind when she is repatriated.

Coming over all Crash with its multi-character perspective and hard hitting message, Crossing Over will be breaking our borders in early 2009.
