We suppose running the first full trailer for Incredibles 2 when people are doing incredible things on the Olympic field (or slope/ice rink/whatever) of competition makes some sense. So take a proper look at writer/director Brad Bird's sequel.
The story for the new movie kicks off mere moments after the original ended (hence the appearance of John Ratzenberger's The Underminer), though this time Helen Parr's Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob – AKA Mr. Incredible – (Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (Sarah Vowell) and Dash (Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life.
It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again...
US audiences will see the film on 15 June, while it'll arrive in the UK a month later on 13 July.
