After Alien vs. Predator, Paul WS Anderson is planning a return to video game adaptations. He’s going to tackle Castlevania, a vampire-hunting epic which first appeared in 1986.
The film extends the rather basic ‘Vania plot by adding in a story about the origins of Dracula and the linked beginnings of the Belmont Clan, a family who may prove to be humanity’s last hope against the blood suckers.
There’s no cast attached yet, but Anderson aims to start shooting next year.
