The cast for G.I. Joe spin-off Snake Eyes is coming together quickly. With Henry Golding playing the title character and Andre Koji on as blood-brother-turned-enemy Storm Shadow, The Raid's Iko Uwais will bring his proven martial arts skills to the movie.

Uwais will be Hard Master, who teaches both of the others the skills they carry forward – Snake Eyes as part of the Joes, Storm Shadow working for a terrorist organisation. The script, by Evan Spiliotopoulos, reportedly focuses on Snake Eyes seeking revenge for his father’s death by joining a ninja clan and in the process finding acceptance.

With Robert Schwentke directing the film, the cameras should be rolling this autumn in Vancouver and Tokyo. The new movie marks the latest development in the G.I. Joe cinematic universe, with Paramount and Hasbro also developing a new ensemble film.
