Idris Elba is already part of a film that will feature horses - Concrete Cowboys, moseying in next year – and he's going to be putting his honed skills to work on another movie, Western drama The Harder They Fall, which has Jay-Z producing.
Jeymes Samuel (AKA The Bullitts) is in the director's chair, and wrote the script alongside Boaz Yakin. The film will find The Last Black Man In San Francisco's Jonathan Majors as Nat Love, who discovers that the man (Elba) who killed his parents two decades ago is being released from prison. He reunites with his gang to track his enemy down and seek his revenge.
Elba's next on-screen appearance will be inCats, the musical adaptation, which is A) out on 20 December and B) either wonderful or awful.
