Ian Somerhalder Investigates The Anomaly

After spending some time just acting in other peoples’ films (with Star Trek Into Darkness as his most recent hired gig), Noel Clarke is back directing and starring in a new film called The Anomal****y. He’s now scored The Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder, Brian Cox, Luke Hemsworth and Alexis Knapp to work alongside him. We'll be honest: Grumpy Cat isn't in this one (that we know of). We just liked the picture.

Based on a script by Simon Lewis, The Anomaly focuses on a traumatized former soldier who wakes up in the back of a van along with a kidnapped boy. The twist he only has nine minutes and 37 seconds of consciousness to figure out what happened, why it’s happening to him, and how he can get out of it.

Clarke is already shooting the film on location across London with backing from The Tea Shop And Film Company. Given what happened the last time he was in London (in Into Darkness, about which we’ll say no more), we’re sure the security services will be keeping a close eye on Noel.
