Current hot Brit kid Freddie “Charlie And The Chocolate Factory” Highmore has been cast in Paramount’s The Spiderwick Chronicles. He’ll play the double role of twin brothers Jared and Simon Grace.
Stormbreaker’s Sarah Bolger is also starring as the twins; sister Mallory in the film, adapted from Holly Black and Tony DiTerlizzi’s books. The plot finds the three kids moving to the titular mansion, discovering an enchanted creature called Brownie who shows them a world of fairies.
Mark Waters will crank the cameras starting in September in Montreal.
