Jeff Daniels has signed on to the dramatic thriller The Lookout, opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
The plot focuses on a mentally impaired ex-athlete (Gordon-Levitt) who works at a bank and is drawn into a heist. Daniels will play a blind ex-biker also caught up when the robbers arrive.
Scott Frank, best known for writing the likes of Out Of Sight, will make his directorial debut from his own screenplay.
