If you haven't seen Heathers you are, frankly, missing out on one of the finest black comedies of the 80s. A tale of high-school rivalries that get seriously out of hand, it's got murder, mayhem, Christian Slater wearing a black trench coat and the sharpest script this side of David Mamet. Now star Winona Ryder is reuniting with director Michael Lehmann, in the hopes of rekindling that ol' black magic after her long absence from lead roles during that whole messy Saks affair. The new film is called Mary Warner, but we're guessing she's no relation to the entertainment giants. This Mary is a slacker actress who embarks on a series of life-changing adventures after mistakenly eating her stoner roommate's pot filled brownies. "It's more like a dysfunctional Ferris Bueller's Day Off than a stoner movie," said Lehmann. "It is a good choice for Winona, who hasn't really done comedy since Heathers and is very good at it." We
