Ten years have passed since Winona Ryder raised hell with Christian Slater in the blackly comic Heathers, but it seems that she's thinking of reprising her role as the preppie rebel, according to Cinescape.
Whilst doing an American promo tour for her latest movie Girl, Interrupted Ryder let slip that plans for a follow-up film were underway. 'Daniel Waters, who wrote Heathers, has come up with an idea,' she said, 'but he's still not convinced people really want a sequel… He may be a little more excited if he can direct this one as well as write it. ' Keeping the script details close to her chest, Winona would only say that she, 'loved playing Veronica. The whole movie was wonderfully twisted and I really want to explore what Veronica is like a decade later…'
