Yes, the denizens of the Oahu underworld will once again face the investigatory prowess of detective Steve McGarrett. McGarrett, originally played by Jack Lord, headed an elite police unit that investigated "organized crime, murder, assassination attempts, foreign agents, felonies of every type". His nemesis was the evil Wo Fat, a "Red Chinese agent". That's right people, the Commies are out from under the bed and they're coming to get us. This new film version is so far without a star or director, but a screenwriter has been hired
