Harrison Ford To Join Cowboys & Aliens?

The last time Harrison Ford had a close encounter was at the brain-bending climax of Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull. If there's truth in thetitbit thrown out there by Latino Review, though, he'll soon be facing downs aliens again in Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens.

Latino Review's source claims Ford is signing up for a comic-book movie directed by someone who's coming off another comic-book movie. Favreau and **Cowboys & Aliens **fit those criteria, and, according to a recent Favreau tweet, there's major casting news coming soon.

If true, the sci-fi spaghetti Western would be Ford's first foray into comic-book movies. Based on Scott Mitchell Rosenberg's graphic novel, Cowboys & Aliens is set in a Wild West made even 200% wilder by the presence of extra-terrestrials who enslave humans and slug it out with a united force of cowboys and Apache warriors.

Hypothetically, of course, Ford would be joining up with Daniel Craig, who stepped into the role of gunslinger Zeke Jackson when Robert Downey Jr. pulled out. It's a grizzled-faced pairing to scare the hell out of any alien with a pulse. Here's hoping...
