SPOILER WARNING, FOLKS! WE MEAN IT!

The last time we saw Harold Perrineau in the mega-hit TV show, Lost, his character, Michael - HERE COMES THE SPOILER! SERIOUSLY! - was having his ass smithereened over a wide area following a rather inconvenient explosion.

You couldn’t blame the 45 year-old actor if he had reacted to losing a regular paying gig by throwing his toys out of the pram. Instead, he’s getting on with things and focusing on his movie career.

And he’s starting with a starring role in the hostage thriller, Killing Jar, in which seven patrons of a remote roadside diner are held captive by a loon with a shotgun. Gradually, though, it becomes clear that one of the hostages may be more dangerous than their captor…

We’re guessing that Perrineau, who plays a travelling salesman called John, will be the hostage who reveals hidden depths – especially when you consider that the other two cast members announced thus far are Michael Madsen and Danny Trejo, both of whom specialise in sleazy nutjobs.

Oh, and Perrineau is also executive producing, so it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if he bagsied the pivotal role.

Killing Jar, which is written and directed by Mark Young, is currently filming in North Carolina.
