Harold & Kumar Return

A second stoner comedy

Harold & Kumar Return

Because American studios just can’t get enough of cheaply produced comedies with lots of opportunities for boobs and bongs, those pot-smoking scoundrels Harold and Kumar (AKA John Cho and Kal Penn) are coming back for seconds.

Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle (released here as Harold And Kumar Get The Munchies) was a success for New Line in 2004, so the company is headed back to the bong water-filled well for a second hit on the cash pipe.

Harold & Kumar 2 doesn’t yet have a proper title (though early word had it called Harold & Kumar Go To Amsterdam), but it does have a plot, a road trip for the pair as they try to escape the law after being suspected as terrorists when they attempt to smuggle a bong on a plane bound for Europe.

Original writers Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg are back, and this time they’ve also wrangled their way into a co-directing job (we were going to call it a joint-directing job, but that’s way too easy).
