As the launch date for the Lemony Snicket adaptation approaches, the trailers are coming more quickly. The latest batch of footage from A Series Of Unfortunate Events has arrived and may be watched below. Unless you wish to watch something more pleasant{ =nofollow}...

Daniel Handler's books follow the Baudelaire orphans Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes) and Sunny, who are left in the less-than-kindly guardianship of Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris) after their parents die in an accident. The couple left behind a huge fortune, and Olaf would love to get his spindly fingers on it. There are diabolical schemes a-plenty and no end of disguises that he thinks are a work of genius, but the kids see through instantly.

With Patrick Warburton as our discouraging narrator, Lemony Snicket, and a cast that also includes Joan Cusack, Alfre Woodard and Rhys Darby, A Series Of Unfortunate Events will start streaming on Netflix on Friday 13th January. You have been warned.
