You would think that Maria Hill would know better than to consider romantic entanglements with Aldrich Killian. But then, writer/director Andrew Bujalski’s new comedy Results isn’t set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so Cobie Smulders should be relatively safe with Guy Pearce. At least until emotions are involved... The first trailer for the movie is now online at Apple’s site.
Results also stars Kevin Corrigan as the freshly rich but also divorced and utterly miserable Danny. Visiting the local gym, he crosses paths with self-styled guru/owner Trevor (Pearce) and irresistibly acerbic trainer Kat (Smulders), who already have something of a connection, though neither is quite sure what it means.
Soon, though, their three lives are more knotted than a tired shoulder muscle and the complicated triangle plays out in funny, weird ways. With Constance Zimmer, Anthony Michael Hall and Brooklyn Decker in the cast, Results got some great reviews at Sundance and will be in UK cinemas on May 29.
