Marcus Nispel's new film is Subterranean

Fresh off The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, director Marcus Nispel is returning to the world of horror with Subterranean. This new film is described as an Earth-set Alien, with all the sci-fi thriller elements you would expect from such a film. The film is set beneath the streets of New York, where something is discovered that could have implications for the whole of humanity. Details beyond that are still pretty sketchy, but it's a fair bet that there will be some running and some screaming. While the whole thing looks as though it might bring back memories of the Mira Sorvino-starring Mimic, we're assuming for the sake of fairness that this is in fact something completely different from giant bugs on the New York subway system. Only time will tell, however.
