Fans of Terry Gilliam's off-the-wall brand of moviemaking can now release their bated breath - news from the States confirms today that the director has signed up for the Good Omens project. Yet another Millennial project, Good Omens is based on the novel of the same name by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. The story has a demon and an angel teaming up to defeat the Antichrist - battling off Satanic nuns and the four motorcyclists of the Apocalypse on the way. Following wild internet rumours over the past few days, Ain't It Cool reports that Terry Gilliam will write the screenplay along with Tony Grisoni and that the film's producers are in talks with several studios about putting the film into production.
