Disney sells off old Miramax gear

In what sounds like someone – in this case Disney – trying to rid themselves of an ex’s possessions after a bad break up, the Mouse House will sell off items from the Miramax closets for charity.

An online auction that launches this Friday at eBay.com and Premiereprops.com will offer the chance to buy such items as one of Renee Zellweger’s Chicago dresses, an outfit worn by Madonna in Blue In The Face and Michael Myer’s mask from Halloween H20 (hope that one comes with an authenticity certificate – surely there are hundreds of Myers masks around).

The proceeds will go to Harvey Weinstein’s new charity, the Max Family Foundation.
