Recycled effects for Episode II

According to top Star Wars fan site TheForce.net Old George Lucas has become environmentally friendly in his old age. A spy for the site has reported that many of the effects in Episode II, and indeed previous instalments, have been recycled from other projects. Warning: some very minor spoilers for Episode II and a MAJOR spoiler for A.I. The rontos seen lumbering around the Mos Eisley space port in Star Wars: Special Edition were apparently reworked versions of the brontosaurs seen in Jurassic Park and Lucas is said to have undertaken some similar CG corner-cutting with his latest instalment. The translucent future-androids who appear at the end of **A.I. ** are to be overhauled as Kaminoan aliens in Episode II, while the turbulent water effects from The Perfect Storm will make up the face of their ocean home-world. Other dinos from the Jurassic series are scheduled to make an - albeit altered - appearance, most notably the pterodactyls from Jurassic Park III, whose flying actions will form the basis for Episode II's 'flying whales'.
