Anthony and Joe Russo, the directing team who last brought us You, Me And Dupree, have teamed up with a local US TV reporter now trying his hand at screenwriting for A Friggin’ Christmas Miracle.
Universal has bought the comedy project written by Phil Johnston, which follows a father who forgets to bring his son’s present to a family Christmas and has to spend Xmas Eve driving through a freezing night with his worst enemy – his own dad - to get it. It’s apparently based on a real-life incident from Johnston’s own life.
