Freddy Gets The Finger

Who would have guessed that Mariah Carey's glory vehicle Glitter would have overtaken in the race to worst movie of the year by not one, but two other films? The nominations announced this morning by The Golden Raspberry Award Foundation gave Tom Green's movie Freddy Got Fingered an early lead with a total of eight nominations, with Sylvester Stallone's film Driven coming a close second with seven nominations. It's been another bumper year for Stallone - the all-time Razzie champion. His four nominations this year bring his total Razzie nominations to 29 in 22 years - an ultimate record for the Awards. Other top runners in today's list include Pearl Harbor (no surprises there then), the execrable Town and Country and Sweet November. Our personal favourite, though, has to go to the nomination for Mariah Carey's cleavage in the Worst Screen Couple category. Ouch!
