Fox Atomic has picked up The Sitter, a spec script from writers Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka.
Little is known about the actual plot, but we’re guessing that it’s probably fairly easy to guess, given that it’s been described as a cross between Chris Columbus’ Adventures In Babysitting and Greg Mottola's Superbad. So expect raucousness, tinged with giddy innocence and, somewhere in there, an extraordinarily hot babysitter.
The script was hot enough to have sparked a bidding war between Fox Atomic, Paramount and Paramount Vantage, with Lorenzo di Bonaventura attached to one of those bids. But Michael De Luca will produce for Fox Atomic.
