President Bill Clinton has said on TV that, given a choice, he would have two-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks play him in a film about his life. Hanks himself turned down an offer to play a very Clinton-like presidential candidate in the movie adaptation of the bestseller Primary Colours, a role that eventually went to John Travolta. Clinton also said he would like Meryl Streep to play Hilary Clinton, preferring her to Emma Thompson, who portrays Travolta's wife in the film. But who should he like to play Socks?
