Forest Whitaker, star of The Crying Game, Bird and US indie phenomenon Smoke, is in London this week to promote his new film Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai. Whitaker will be attending a special Q&A session at the Ritzy cinema in Brixton in which lucky fans will get their chance to quiz the actor. Ghost Dog is the latest film from Jim Jarmusch, director of cult indie staples Stranger Than Paradise and Mystery Train. It stars Whitaker as Ghost Dog, a cool, professional hitman guided by an ancient Samurai code of conduct at odds with the chaos of the modern world. Famed for his ability to move around unseen, when Ghost Dog is spotted at the scene of a murder, his Mafia masters turn against him. The screening takes place at the Ritzy on Sunday 16th April at 8pm, followed by the Q&A at 10pm approx. For bookings phone the Ritzy box office on: 020 7733 2229.
