Finally back behind the camera after 2010's excellent low-budget thriller Exam, director Stuart Hazeldine has been working on something very different for this next movie. The adaptation of William P. Young's bestseller The Shack is heading for cinemas and you can find the trailer below.

The Shack sees Sam Worthington as Mack Phillips, a devoted husband and father who seems to have the ideal life. But when a family tragedy sends him crashing into a deep depression, he begins to question everything, even his faith.

That's when a mysterious letter – delivered by someone who appears to leave no footprints – arrives, urging him to visit an abandoned shack in the middle of rural Oregon. There, he finds three strangers led by Papa (Octavia Spencer) and discovers something that will change his understanding of the world and his life...

This is a very tricky line to walk – channelling a faith-based story without falling into some of the pitfalls we've seen in similar movies. But The shack also features the likes of Radha Mitchell, Tim McGraw, Grahame Greene and Avraham Aviv Alush, and will be out in Stateside cinemas this March. We'll have to wait to hear whether it'll head over here.
