"Full disclosure: you're looking at a room of double-glazing salesman." So begins the first teaser trailer for White Gold, the new BBC Two comedy series from The Inbetweeners writer-director Damon Beesley. There's gold in them thar Essex hills! Take a look below.

Set in a double-glazing showroom in 1980s Essex, White Gold stars Ed Westwick, (Son Of Rambow), Lauren O’Rourke (This Is England '90) and Inbetweeners alumni Joe Thomas and James Buckley, depicting the dodgy shenanigans and petty rivalries of a bravado-heavy small business.

Beesley described the series as an opportunity "to recreate the Essex of my youth - a time before the invention of 'Essex girls' jokes, fake tan or TOWIE. A time when having double-glazed patio doors installed meant you were winning at life."

Filmed in Essex itself, White Gold arrives on BBC Two in May.
