We learned just a few days ago that the latest take on Cinderella, which stars singer Camila Cabello, had been sold by Sony to Amazon. The first images of Cabello and co-star Nicholas Galitzine (Prince Charming to her title character) are online, along with word on when the film will hit the Prime video service.
Featuring pop tunes from a variety of artists and original songs from Cabello and Idina Menzel (as Cinders' Stepmother), the story is musically driven approach to the story. Our heroine (Cabello) is an ambitious young woman, whose dreams are bigger than the world will allow, but with the help of her Fab G (Billy Porter), she is able to persevere and make her dreams come true.
Minnie Driver, John Mulaney and Pierce Brosnan are also in the cast, and the film will land on Amazon's service in September.
