The big versus clash might be happening in the cinema right now, but let's not forget that Bruce Campbell's Ash Williams will be back to tackle those stinkin' Deadites in the new season of Ash Vs. Evil Dead later this year. Well... Once he's finished having a little fun, that is. Check out the first image from the new season above.
Executive producer Sam Raimi and his team kicked off shooting the new 10-episode run last month and Ash certainly seems to be having a fine old time after swearing off the conflict with the Evil Dead. He's in Jacksonville, where his most challenging opponent appears to be a beer keg. But we're sure he'll be dragged back into battle soon enough.
Especially since Ruby (Lucy Lawless) is still out there, and in possession of the Necronomicon, Ray Santiago's Pablo is still trying to recover from the horror of the cabin and Kelly Maxwell (Dana DeLorenzo) is plotting revenge against the supernatural types after a personal tragedy.
And we'll get more of a glimpse into Ash's younger years thanks to the addition of his father Brock (Lee Majors), his childhood pal Chet Kaminsky (Ted Raimi) and his old flame Linda (Michelle Hurd). Groovy!
