Because Fifty Shades Freed represents the conclusion of the trilogy of movies, naturally the marketing is all about making as much of the word "climax" as it can, like some giggling school child. It dominates the new trailer and also the poster, which can be found sneaking around lower down the page.
Freed, which, like Darker, was directed by James Foley, finds Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson), getting hitched, which would seem to be what they both want. There's still the chance for high-flying demonstrations of wealth and the requisite kinky sex scenes, but it's also about them finding some new measure of happiness.
Of course, it can't be that simple, and there are worries for Anastasia about ladies getting a little close to her man, and of course fresh fears about stalkers...
The film will be out on 9 February next year.
