Part of Steve Barker's zombie outbreak horror The Rezort in recent times, Dougray Scott is continuing the theme with a role in Fear The Walking Dead.
No further details have yet emerged, other than that he'll be a recurring character in the second season.
Fear The Walking Dead, of course, spins off from The Walking Dead, based on the Robert Kirkman comics and itself just heading into season six. Fear was picked up last year by channel AMC for an immediate two seasons, and looks set to run significantly further.
Kim Dickens, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frank Dillane, Rubén Blades, Mercedes Mason and Cliff Curtis are the stars, and the next seven episodes will arrive in the spring, with a further eight pegged for later in the year.
