Colin Farrell, in case you haven't heard, is back, back, back. You'll see that for yourself when In Bruges opens here next weekend, but already the signs are there - the fact that he's signing on for interesting dramas like Triage rather than epics that call for a blond mullet is part of the clue.

The new drama casts him as a photojournalist who returns from a dangerous assignment without his colleague and best friend. We're guessing (dependant on genre) he either suffers survivor's guilt (serious drama), or real guilt cause it turns out he was somehow responsible (serious thriller).

Paz Vega and Christopher Lee have also signed up, and Bosnian director Danis Tanovic (Best Foreign Film Oscar-winner No Man's Land) is taking the helm. Shooting's due to take place in Ireland and Alicante between now and June.
