American TV actor Thomas Gibson has been cast by Stanley Kubrick to appear in scenes that the director is re-shooting in London for Eyes Wide Shut. The movie is fast approaching the record for a shooting schedule, having been in production since October 1996, with stars such as Tom Cruise already having re-shot many of their scenes.
