‘Eyes’ Finally Closes

It's been in production for a year, but now Stanley Kubrick's latest film, his first since Full Metal Jacket in 1987, has at long last wrapped. Little is still known about Eyes Wide Shut, starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, except that the couple play married psychiatrists (with Sydney Pollack and Jennifer Jason Leigh as their patients) and that the theme is sexual obsession and jealousy. According to The New York Times, Cruise has lost millions by spending so much time on the project, and experienced difficulties with the sex scenes.
