Extras on the new vampire film, Blade, starring Wesley Snipes are suing executives at New Line Features, the producing studio, after they claim to have been afflicted by an unsightly rash following the use of fake blood. Several of the extras were coated in the bogus claret for up to eight hours during the shooting of a bloody scene which takes place inside a Hollywood disco. The extras have subsequently filed for loss of earnings against the studio, claiming that they could not work due to the unsightly blemishes which plagued their bodies.
