So used to watching him in Game Of Thrones, it's a bit weird to see Nikolaj Coster-Waldau without Jaime Lannister's signature hair and moustache-less face. But Shot Caller requires Coster-Waldau to face more action than Jaime has seen in seven seasons of HBO's hit show when his Jacob is sent to prison after a drink driving-related accident and subsequently joins an Ayran Brotherhood to survive life on the inside.

Directed by Ric Roman Waugh (Snitch, the upcoming Angel Has Fallen), Shot Caller also stars Jon Bernthal, Omari Hardwick and Benjamin Bratt. Lake Bell is also onboard as the wife Jacob must protect at all costs when the gang that kept him safe behind bars come looking for a favour on his release.
Shot Caller arrives in UK cinemas on 15 December.
