Hard on the heels of Billy Crystal confirming that he will indeed take on the emcee mantle at the 76th Academy Awards, comes news that the British Academy is already eyeing up its main man for next year's awards. Talking to Stephen Fry yesterday at a press conference for his film Bright Young Things in London, Empire Online posited the theory that he might take on presenter duties for a third year running. 'They have asked me to do it again,' Fry confirmed. 'But I'm not sure whether I'm going to be able to do it. The answer's 'I don't know!' Told that Empire Online readers were (at that point) voting in their thousands for him to present The Oscars, Fry said, 'that's very sweet! Really, I'm touched!
