The latest member to be named is the actress and writer Carrie Fisher. ‘I have no ambitions as an actress,’ Fisher told People magazine. ‘I'm going to do a day's work on Scream 3, but that's all I can handle, a day's work.’ What’s really eating the rumour mongers is who’s going to be the opening title sequence victim. Names being bandied about include Shannen Doherty, Alicia Silverstone and even our very own Kate Winslet. So far, all that’s been confirmed by the studio is that Courtney Cox and hubbie David Arquette and the victimised Neve Campbell have signed up. Newcomers to the series are expected to include Parker Posey and Brit actress Emily Mortimer – last seen as one of Cate Blanchett’s servants in Elizabeth.
