Bouncing back from the belly flop that was Bewitched, Nora and sister Delia Ephron are adapting the young-adult novel Flipped, which Nora plans to direct.
The book, written by Wendelin Van Draanen, follows two kids who get on each other’s nerves at age seven, but end up sitting in a tree and k-i-s-s-i-n-g at age 13. Er, yuk, scabs!
"For us it was about finding a voice that can do teens and adolescents in a way that doesn't feel like you're talking down to them, that was sophisticated in the way that kids are now," production company head Tracey Trench blabbed to Variety.
